SOLIDEX honored with the MAŁOPOLSKA LEADER 2003 title

Kraków, 11 March 2004 - SOLIDEX, an IT network system integrator, has been honored with the MAŁOPOLSKA LEADER 2003 title by the Union of Małopolska Gminas and Poviats. The company has been distinguished as one of the biggest integrator companies and a leading IT company on the Polish market.

The title of the "Małopolska Project of the Year" is awarded to initiatives that are among the driving forces in the region. Distinctions are awarded to projects that relate to infrastructure and projects with a social dimension - important for the spiritual sphere, education, identity or the quality of life; they also go to Małopolska companies which expand, apply new technologies and create new jobs.

"We feel honored by the award. We do realize that our work serves not only our clients but is also of importance to our region. That is why we take every effort to do it well and develop continuously. We do believe that using our expertise and experience in support of new technologies, we can contribute to improving the quality of life in our region and we are glad to know that our efforts have been appreciated in such a nice way. Laureates of this year's title of MAŁOPOLSKA LEADER also include the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, for its overall activities, Onet.pl portal, "Żywiec" S.A. Brewery, Bank Spółdzielczy Rzemiosła w Krakowie, WOJAS company from the Podhale area, "Sfera" shopping centre in Bielsko-Biała, "Galicja" multi-cultural festival in Przemyśl, as well as the Main Centre for Mountain Tourism - branch of PTTK tourist organization in Kraków for preparing and providing signs along the Małopolska Papal Route named after Pope John Paul II and the Voivodship Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (WFOŚiGW) for providing 32 fire-service vehicles to fire-service (OSP) units in the Małopolska voivodship.

The competition for the "Project of the Year - MAŁOPOLSKA LEADER 2003" has been organized by the Union of Małopolska Gminas and Poviats (SGiPM) for the third time now, which, as Poland's biggest organization of local governments covering the area of historical region of Małopolska, promotes the best social and economic projects in the area.

The competition will be formally concluded with the ceremony of diploma presentation and a short presentation of the Projects of the Year in Małopolska, to be held in the Session Hall of the Council for the Capital Royal City of Kraków, Pl. Wszystkich Świętych 3/4 in Kraków, at 11.00 a.m. on March 11th, 2004.
