In November 2002, SOLIDEX S.A., Kraków-based Network System Integrator, successfully completed the certification audit for compliance of its Quality Management System with the requirements of the PN-EN ISO 9001:2001 standard. The certification also comprised the company's Internal Audit System which was tested for compliance with additional requirements under the provisions concerning the control of trade in goods of strategic importance.
The audit was performed by the Polish Centre for Testing and Certification (PCBC) which is a member of the International Quality Network (IQNet). The certification covered the following areas of the company's activity:
- design, professional advisory services, implementation and servicing as well as technical support to IT systems, and
- sale, installation and configuration of advanced IT hardware with the applicable software.
The compliance with the ISO standard requirements and the Quality Policy as pursued by the company attest to the high level of its services.
"The award of the ISO certificate is another step in our efforts for the quality and professionalism of the services provided by SOLIDEX to its clients to become an unrivalled model in the industry,' says with satisfaction Mr. Zbigniew Skotniczny, President of SOLIDEX S.A. "SOLID Quality means the fulfillment of our motto, the same for almost thirteen years now - SOLID in every action. As a company 100% owned by Polish capital, SOLIDEX has designed its quality program based on its own objectives and tailor-made Quality Management System that directs our organization. Let me also add that the QSM dossier, developed for more than two years, is available in full at our specially designed intranet service that supports electronic surfing among procedures, instructions and forms, and a vast majority of the documents in circulation are electronic documents available from that system. We do hope that the Quality Management System just certified and its compliance with the European standard will enable us to effectively compete in the united Europe.'
"The Quality Management System enables SOLIDEX to continuously improve its services and meet the expectations of ours clients to their satisfaction,' adds Maciej Skotniczny, Plenipotentiary of the Management Board for the Quality Management System.
