SOLIDEX - Dobra Firma Małopolska 2002

The editorial board of the Rzeczpospolita daily awarded the title of "Good Company of the Małopolska Region 2000 ("Dobra Firma Małopolska 2002") to SOLIDEX which ranked first among the "Gold Five". The other companies included Energopol sp. z o.o. (Kraków), ComArch S.A. (Kraków), Action 2 sp. z o.o. (Kraków), Wall Kraków sp. z o.o. (Stanisławice).

" We have honored five top companies in our opinion, in the Małopolska region, identified on the basis on our analysis of their financial results for the years 1999-2001. The most important criteria were the rate of increase in the volumes of sales and profitability" - explains the editorial board of Rzeczpospolita - "Evaluating the company's efficiency we also looked at their returns on assets (ROA), returns on equity (ROE) as well as the dynamics of their assets and capitals" The list of 100 biggest companies of the Małopolska region was prepared by Rzeczpospolita for the first time.
This is a consequence and follow-up of the GOOD COMPANY 2002 (DOBRA FIRMA 2002) award which was granted to SOLIDEX in October this year when the editorial board of Rzeczpospolita honored 20 companies out of 1,000 from all over Poland. Among IT firms, only SOLIDEX and ORACLE Polska were included in the top twenty companies.

"I wish to thank the Editorial Board of Rzeczpospolita for taking note of and appreciating the excellent results SOLIDEX generated over the past years. This distinction confirms our strong market position in the Małopolska region. And it is our responsibility is to continue our efforts to maintain our SOLID position and aim at its SOLID improvement" - commented SOLIDEX's President, Zbigniew Skotniczny, who collected the award during a meeting which was aimed at a discussion about the region of Małopolska in the context of Poland's accession to the EU.
