Dobra Firma 2002 (Good Company 2002) - Award of "Rzeczpospolita" daily for the fastest developing companies granted to SOLIDEX

Top twenty most dynamically developing companies out of 50 nominees were awarded on 3 October 2002 the honorary diplomas of "Dobra Firma 2002" (Good Company 2002) by the editorial board of "Rzeczpospolita" daily. One of the 20 laureates was SOLIDEX S.A. The full list comprises 1000 Polish state-owned and private companies.
The diplomas were presented by the Minister of Economy, Mr. Jacek Piechota. The laureates had been selected by the specially appointed chapter composed of two representatives of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN), Professor Marek Belka and Dr. Jan Macieja, Dr. Bohdan Wyżnikiewicz of the Gdańsk Institute for Market Economics, Mr. Krzysztof Rybiński, analyst of BPH PBK, Mr. Artur Sierant of Notoria Serwis, and two representatives of the daily's editorial board, Mr. Krzysztof Bień and Mr. Paweł Jabłoński.
We are satisfied to be among the "Good Companies" but we are also glad not to be the only IT company among those awarded, said Dr. Zbigniew Skotniczny, President of SOLIDEX S.A., in an interview to "Rzeczpospolita".
In no single year during the past 12 years of its operations has the Kraków company SOLIDEX noted worsened financial results. Its continuous growth has placed the company among the leaders of IT integration solutions. In terms of revenues, SOLIDEX follows on that market companies such as Prokom, ComputerLand and Softbank, reports Rzeczpospolita.
