The Customs Chamber in Kraków with security equipment provided by SOLIDEX

SOLIDEX has provided network security hardware and software to the re-organised Customs Office - the Customs Chamber (IC) in Kraków that will ensure secure data transmission between the Chamber's branches.

The Customs Chamber in Kraków is one of seventeen such authorities located on the territory of Poland. It supervises four Customs Offices (UC) - UC I in Kraków with four branches reporting to it (two of which administer the border crossing at Balice), UC II in Kraków, UC in Kielce with its four branches, and the UC in Tarnów with its branch (OC) in Brzesko.

The Customs Chamber in Kraków covers the area of the Małopolskie Voivodship except the following counties (powiats): gorlicki, limanowski, nowosądecki, nowotarski, oświęcimski, suski, tatrzański and wadowicki, as well as the whole area of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodship. The area is inhabited by approx. 4,300,000 residents and approx. 267,000 businesses operate there.
