MPLS- new authorized trainings in SOLIDEX's offer

MPLS is quite new technology, which enables internet service providers building MAN and WAN networks based on IP protocol using VPN and QoS mechanisms. Flow engineering provides networks for their adaptation in different flow situations. Implementing Cisco MPLS course - available in SOLIDEX offer since the 12^th of March this year - covers fundamentals of MPLS technology, its architecture, functioning,  diagnostics and troubleshooting. The goal of the course is acquisition of  abilities and knowledge useful for installation and troubleshooting in MPLS networks. The course discusses the principle of operation of the MPLS technology, as well as installation and configuration of VPN mechanism and presents different implementation scenarios. Theoretical tutorials are completed with huge package of practical exercises, connected with MPLS implementation on Cisco Systems facilities.

The subject of the course covers:

• MPLS introduction (MPLS basics, MPLS applications, LABELS)
• Assignment and distribution of MPLS labels (Pacet-Mode MPLS, LDP, LC-ATM)
• Implementation of Frame-Mode/Cell-Mode MPLS on Cisco IOS platform
• Fundamentals of MPLS-VPN
  (conceptions and aims, terminology, connections' model, mechanisms of transmission, typology, scaling)
• VPN peer to peer networks
• Internet access through MPLS VPN
• Configuration of MP-BGP session between PE routers.

The course is dedicated to administrators of MPLS networks, people who are planning such implementation and systems engineers, who want to acquire knowledge about MPLS and its mechanisms. The course is also an important element in receiving certification of Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional (CCIP). Participants should have thorough knowledge about IP and link state routing protocols, basic information about IS-IS or OSPF, as well as be oriented in QoS services and its mechanisms.
