SOLIDEX's headquartes in Kraków*

Established in 1990 and operating until the present, based in whole on the Polish capital, the company has specialised in designing, developing and maintaining network systems to any scale and complexity, to be used in any sector of the economy.

SOLIDEX owes its current position among the leaders of Polish system integrators (4th place among 100 biggest integrators according to Teleinfo 500, 2002) to its strong specialisation based on consistently applied state-of-the-art technologies of the world's leading manufacturers such as Cisco Systems, Oracle, Check Point or McAfee.

The company's activity comprises complex project implementation from the idea and design through authorized supplies and installations, implementation and training, to system operation. SOLIDEX provides comprehensive service and technical support to IT systems throughout the country. The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days in the year and guarantees that the functionality of system will be restored within several hours.

Headquartered in Kraków, the company has its branches in Warsaw, Gdańsk and Poznań and has recently opened its service units in Olsztyn, Lublin, Wrocław and Szczecin.

SOLIDEX provides its services to almost 700 clients throughout Poland representing all sectors. Its clients include Poland's biggest banks, almost all telecommunications operators, large commercial chains, universities and colleges, and many state administration agencies.

For the past two business years, the company's income reached approximately 200 PLN million per annum with a high net profitability of almost 10 percent, which enables the company to develop using its own funds.

The qualifications and experience of the company's SOLID EXperts enabled it to achieve, among others, Poland's highest status of authorization by its principal partner - Cisco Systems Gold Partner. Its attainments and position are confirmed by numerous awards and distinctions, including:

• the award of "Dobra Firma 2002" ("Good Company 2002") from the Polish daily newspaper "Rzeczpospolita", granted to the twenty best companies in Poland,
• the award of "Dobra Firma Małopolska 2002" ("Good Company in Małopolska 2002") granted by "Rzeczpospolita" to the best company in the region,
• the title of "Gazela Biznesu" ("Business Gazelle") awarded twice in 2000 and 2001.

The company's qualifications are also confirmed by the certificate awarded in 2002 for compliance of SOLIDEX's Quality Management System with the PN-EN ISO 9001:2001 standard. The certification comprised the Internal Audit System necessary for trade in double-use technologies.
